TALL-ents

Some people think that in soccer, the older/taller you are, the better you are. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!!!!! Several weeks ago, my team played a bunch of tall people. Their whole team was taller than my team, and we were 500,000 times better than them! And being shorter than the other team has advantages, too. For example, if you're smaller, you can fit through tight spots, you can move in more ways, and you're lighter. I'm only 4 foot 6, and my coach rated me 4 out of 5 last year. If that's not a good example of how 'the bigger the better' isn't true in soccer, then I'm a frog.

the hockey specialty competion

Zdeno Chara on the Bostin Bruins broke the record for the hardest shot in sixteen years. He got it to go 105 miles per hour. In my opinion that will be the best that anyone will do in a long time. I couldn't believe that he was able to get the puck to go that fast.
Alex Ovechkin won the break away competition. I wasn't surprised that he won because last year he had the most goals in the season.
Today is the all star game, my favorite team is the Rangers and their goalie is going to the game.

Shovel boarding

Most of you blog readers have gone skiing or snowboarding, but have you ever heard of shovel boarding?! For this you need a bunch of snow and a shovel. You sit on the scoop part of the shovel with the handle sticking out in front of you.Then you push yourself and your off! And just repeat these instructions and then become a pro and invent your own tricks! Here are some tricks i know of.


1.spin. [twirl around using your arms]
2.rodeo style. [take the handle and hold it in the air like you were in a rodeo!]
3.manual. [instead of just sitting put your feet on it and stand up then put all your wieght on the tip of the handle of the shovel and then your doing it!]

Winter Soccer

Everyone who plays soccer usually stops playing when winter starts. Who wants to play soccer in the winter with all that snow? You wouldn't be able to run! So if you love playing soccer, but it's winter, what do you do? Well, you play indoors! Not meaning in your house, but in an indoor gym where there is a place you can play indoor soccer in. There are organizations in different areas where there are gyms to play soccer in in the winter. How do you find these places? Simple! Just look them up! All you have to type in is "winter soccer", and there you you are. Try it out! Winter soccer is fun!

can you believe it Arizona and Pittsburgh are in the super bowl. This is weird because the Giants are better than both of these teams.I am rooting for Arizona because they always loose to the Giants. The Giants are so good but they deserved to get their but kicked by Philadelphia. The giants were hotshots and were to cocky, now they know not to be cocky. Now back to Arizona and Pittsburgh. Both Arizona and Pittsburgh have great quarterbacks. It will be a well fought battle.    

how to water ski

when you first get on a water ski your skis and you are going to sink so when you sink point your skis up because when the boat moves you will go up to the waters edge not go even more down.when you got up and gliding when you are up and gliding then you should balance your hands then you are ready to go

japan has sports too!

There are a lot of different sports around the world. Japan has a couple wacky sports let me tell you! There's one where you tape a pair of binoculars to your head but the way where you see things tiny! But thats not all, once you have the binoculars on your head you have to play soccer with them on! HOW FUNNY!! See ya!

sand boarding

Sand boarding is a sport you play in the sand. This is what you have to do to sand board. Get a rectangle shaped board. Wax the bottom of it and go to a high hill made out of sand. Lie down on the board. Slide all the way down to victory. It is like surfing but on sand. It is more dry. WHAT ARE YOU DOING GO OUT SIDE AND SAND BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a record no matter what

I can't believe that the New York Giants have got eliminated from superbowl 43. However we have the Cardnials who haven't won a superbowl in their history then the Steelers are tied with the Cowboys for most superbowl wins with .

I think that the Steelers will win  because they clobbered the teams that they played but the Cardnials fust snuck into the superbowl. But then the can go back to last year when the Patriots were undefeated and they still lost so really anyone can win this.

World series, last game, bottom of the ninth, 2 out, bases loaded, SCARY!
If you are wondering if this could get worse, yes, we were down by 4 runs, and we were in the field.I was up on the mound pitching, but lucky for us it was one of my best positions i could play. Here came the first pitch, STRIKE ONE! yelled the umpire. Second pitch STRIKE TWO! yelled the umpire again, third pitch, BALL ONE whisperd the umpire.Why do umpires ALWAYS yell if its a strike, and whisper if its a ball? i thought I pitched again another ball, again i pitched BALL TWO the next pitch was the same,it was a ball again. The next pitch i used all off my strength on, but sice i did that the ball sailed ove the backstop. The coach of my team K, your not pitching anymore for the rest of the game. So the coach decided i would play centerfield i was good at that too, soon i caught a fly ball and we were up to bat.I was the fourth person in the lineup, and the players ahed of me all got singles so it was bases loaded i knew i would get out i just knew it, i did not want to be negative, but i could not be positive here came the first pitch i swung HOME RUN!!! i got a GRAND SLAM!!! I knew that a good thing would happen if i swung super hard. i thought. My coach came up to me and said "good work out there K, you are soon to have a perfect future, in this kind of baseball buisness. "Thanks coach, i just needed a little encouragment, thats all" i said, blushing

Complete Breakdown

It started out well for the NY Giants. They had a field goal which is 3 points. But then it was the Eagles turn to give domination to the Giants. Then the Eagles got a touchdown which brings the score to 7-3. The Giants got 5 points in that quarter and the Eagles got 3 which brings the score to 10-8.
I think that it was very unexpected that the Eagles won. First of all the Giants have played the Eagles twice and won once but they clobbered them the one time.
Finally the Eagles got 13 points in the last two quarters and the Giants got only three points so it was the Eagles that were going to play the Arizona Cardnials for the NFC championship.

fantastic ice skating

Ice skating is so much fun. When your on the ice it is so amazing. You can do so many fantastic tricks. I love when I watch TV about ice skating but especially when I ice skate. Some times you may fall well most of the time you may fall at first but once you get use to it  you will be an expert. I was scared the first time I try ice skating but after a week or two I was so good at ice skating. I most likely go ice skating every summer and winter , it is so much fun well I have slipped a couple of times but I always got back up. 

We got a good bullpen

It's an amazing thing for Mets fans. They finally got a great closer Fransisco Rodriguez. He broke the all time record for most  saves in a season by any closer in history! Not only that but they also have some good eighth inning pitchers.

 Oh wait! they also have a great left handed pitcher okay they have the best left handed pitcher in all of current M.L.B. Johan Santana also pitched a shut out with only 3 days rest the normal is 5 days rest.

In my opinion this is going to be a very exciting subway series.

uh-oh

Bottom of the ninth, bases loaded, me up to bat, us down by four, VERY intense. I looked at the pitcher, he was calling "EASY OUT, WE HAVE GOT A WEAKLING HERE!" "so i have not got a hit all game, no need to do that". i muttered. I was trying to cool off, i knew my temper, and if it was blasted here, i would never be on another baseball team again. Oh yeah did i mention this was a playoff game against my coach's rival? "Oh man" i thought. Then came the pitch SWING, miss, second pitch SWING miss, third pitch while the pitch came i remembered the pitcher calling me a weakling. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH" i yelled and i swung with all my might for the second time in the season i broke the bat and one half of the bat hit the pitcher right in the face! Since it was a head injury, he could not recover the ball so i got a home run!

I think that if they were versing the incredible Hulk they would win, they are almost clones of Hulk, aggressive, strong, and awesome! Why why did the giants lose to the horrible Philadelphia Eagles! They got crushed to them it was 23 to 11 what a lose right. I am not a giants fan but I am a New York fan, this is a message to the giant fans out there. It was a great year for the giants but not in the playoffs, I understand that and I know how you feel hey I am a New York fan!!

Socball! Sports in process

All right, I know anybody out there reading this is going to be like, "What the heck is Socball?!" Now, I bet most of you aren't paying attention to the "Sports in process" part. What I mean by that is that you don't have to stick to the same old sports. If you feel like you want something more extreme than baseball, for example, play with more bases, two people, un-touchable areas, obstacles, (for both players in the same inning) tennis balls, double hits, (like if you hit the ball up in the air and then run after it and hit it again, and then make it through all the bases, it counts as 2 points) and things you have to do before making a home run. Now comes the Socball part. The "ball" part comes from football the "soc" part comes from soccer. What I mean is, if you don't have all the pieces and parts to play a game, fill in the missing parts with parts of other games! It will proably be more fun than the full sport that's not mixed with other games. Try it out! Experiment!

Can you believe Plaxico Buress ruined his whole career in one night. he was at a club and he shot himsef in the leg. This is dumb, but even worse he tried to cover it up. The only person he told was Antonio Peirce and Peirce didn't tell anyone. Plaxico buress was banned from football and Antonio is still on trial. This hurts the Giants a lot, Antonio and Plaxico were good.Plaxico was highly favored.  

The new season for the best team ever!

April is a long time to wait for baseball season, so i am preparing myself for the year ahead! I am going to use these strategies to prepare myself for the new season and you should too!

1. I am getting all supplies needed to watch the games on T.V baseball Jerseys, gloves, etc
2. I am going to start a schedule for when games are and when to watch them!

 Tennis is a fun sport to play, most likely I play tennis every summer it is so much fun, it's exciting , amazing. Me and my friend's play tennis all the time they all ways tell me how much fun it is we all ways talk about tennis, all the wonderful thing's you can do and you can have fun with it to. All the amazing skill's every one has including me is so fantastic  it's relaxing to and you can enjoy your day to. I love when we come together to play some wonderful tennis

Royal Rumble 2009 predictions

In the match for the World Heavyweight Championship I think that John Cena will retain his title against JBL. Also in the match for the Womens Championship I think that Melina would win the championship against Beth Phoenix. Including I think that Jeff Hardy will retain his WWE Championship against Edge. Finally I think that Umaga will return at the Royal Rumble

They still want pitching.

I can' t believe that the new york Mets still want more pitchers. For one thing they want Derek Lowe on the Las Angeles Dadgers who is  a free agent.  He's a starter which means that  if  they get him they'll have Johan Santana, John Maine, Mike Pelfrey, Derek Lowe, but then I can't really blame them because they don't have a 5th starter and the other ones that they have isnt't really helpful because one wants to much money andthe other isn't good anymore.

Hi! You guys have probably read my other blogs about one topic each,but this one is about everything sports related! but before we get into that,i have a special request from you! If you guys want me to talk about a certain sport just comment on any blog i have ever done! But you should comment one this one because it is most recent.O.K now we can talk, [well type] sports! One thing i have never blogged about is volleyball! I feel volleyball is a cool sport because anybody can play. Most people think football is a only man sport, and that ice skating is a girly sport, but not volleyball! Volleyball is a sport that anybody can be good at! Next i am gonna talk about track, 116 has a track team it usually starts in March. Track is a fun sport, but not everybody can be good at it! If you love to run, AND your good, i suggest joining the team, you might win a MEDAL. Next we are gonna talk about swimming. Swimming is a sport that should be done in at least 4 months from now, but there is a kids club with swimming and an indoor pool right across the street from school! And now all things must come to an end, do not remember the request at the top of this blog!

Soccer

Soccer is a game which involves strategy, so here is some strategy which can help you with soccer

1. keep those knees high!
2. if you are playing in grass, wear cleats, if you do not have any, it does not matter.
3. running and jogging are different, running is better if you are center, but if you are defense, it is better if you jog.

i will do more on this subject and more, do not worry.
